It’s difficult to be on the internet and not believe that Russia and Germany have a very confusing relationship with sexuality.
But I think a huge place that has that is the United States in a lot of different ways.
Not sure where Russia comes into this. Their culture and language is fairly hostile to non-traditional marriage / “sexual progressivism,” and westernization generally. Hell, there’s actually no way to express “same sex marriage” in the Russian language without building your own word—which of course, people wouldn’t understand without you explaining what you mean first.

Okay yeah, my bad. To be fair, I didn’t claim there isn’t porn, just that Russia as a culture and in governing seems fairly resistant to being “westernized” and “progressivized” like America, especially where sexuality and gay marriage is concerned.

You have not seen Russia in the 90s and the 00s, we were Americanized as shit and LGBT acceptance was on the rise, the anti-Western anti-gay propaganda only started around 2011.
Transmedicalism is unpopular not because it’s wrong. It’s unpopular because there is a minority of trans people, and they are easily silenced by cis trenders.
